Macro Split Calculator
Macro split calculator
This calculator turns your daily calories into grams of protein, carbohydrate, and fat for a chosen split. Each split is explained below the result.
What this result means
A macro split divides your daily calories into protein, carbohydrate, and fat. Protein and carbohydrate give about 4 kcal per gram and fat gives about 9 kcal per gram, so the same calorie number becomes different gram amounts for each split.
| Split | What it means |
|---|---|
| Balanced (30 / 40 / 30) | An even split that suits most people. Protein is high enough to help keep muscle, carbs fuel daily activity, and fat supports hormones. |
| Higher protein (40 / 30 / 30) | More protein for people training hard or trying to keep muscle while losing weight. Often more filling. |
| Lower carb (25 / 30 / 45) | Fewer carbs and more fat. Some people find it easier to control appetite on this pattern. |
| Higher carb (20 / 55 / 25) | More carbs for endurance exercise or heavy daily activity, where carbs are the main fuel. |
Every split is general guidance. No single split is right for everyone, and the best one is the one you can follow with food you actually eat, such as roti, chawal, daal, sabzi, and dahi.
Limits and when to see a doctor
This tool only does arithmetic on the numbers you give it. It does not know your health, your medicines, or your training. If you have diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, or a heart condition, ask a doctor or dietitian before changing your macronutrients. A very low calorie number is not safe to follow without medical supervision.
